We are writing to inform you about a potential emergency situation that may affect our operations at the DEN1 Datacenter. The primary power utility in our region has scheduled a service interruption from April 6, 2024, at 21:00 UTC to April 7, 2024, at 15:00 UTC. This precautionary measure is being taken by the utility company to mitigate the risk of wildfires due to forecasted 70-100 MPH winds in the area.

Despite this planned disruption, please be reassured that our facility is well-prepared to handle such situations. We have implemented extensive backup measures, including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) backups and a generator with diesel reserve on hand. These measures are designed to ensure uninterrupted power supply for our critical infrastructure.

Furthermore, our generator has the capacity to provide three days of continuous operation, ensuring that our operations can continue seamlessly during the scheduled power outage period. Therefore, we do not anticipate any outage or disruption to our services.

However, as with any emergency situation, we have all staff remaining vigilant and prepared. Please review your emergency protocols and ensure that you are familiar with the procedures in place. If you have managed DIsaster Recovery with us rest assured that your services will be online per your SLA.  If your service currently does not include a disaster recovery plan feel free to reach out to our team for more information.  Our onsite team will be monitoring the situation closely and will be available to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
